Emile Richard

Passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, at the age of 96.

Emile was predeceased by his beloved wife, Yvette; daughter, Joanne; parents, Patrick and Armande Richard; and many brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving children, Jacques Richard, Jocelyne Richard, and John (Paulette Hibbert) Richard; cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Steven, Marc (Lesdy), and Joelle DeVincentis; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family in Canada.

Emile will always be remembered for his beautiful baby blue eyes, his warm smile, and the kindhearted way he treated everyone he met. In 1964, he came to the United States to build a better life for his family. Through hard work, determination, and incredible talent, he became the owner and operator of his own business, traveling across the country and working on homes for many notable people, including movie stars.

There was truly nothing Emile could not build. His woodworking skills were remarkable, and he took great pride in creating things with his hands. Whether working on a grand project or helping someone in need, he poured his heart into everything he did. More than his craftsmanship, it was his gentle nature, generosity, and love for his family that left the greatest impression on those who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
