Skwirba, Eric G.

Greece: October 18, 2014, at age 83. He is predeceased by sisters, Gertrude, Hedwig, Ilse. Survived by wife, Brigitte of 55 years; son, Earl; daughter, Monika (Steven) Maira; seven grandchildren: Nika and Dylan Skwirba, Frank, Philip, Joseph, Michael and Isabella Maira; sister, Gerda Schiller. Longtime owner of Eric's Garage, and member of Rochester Touristen Verein, Rochester Schwaben Verein, and German-American Sports Club.

Friends and family may call Friday, Oct. 24th, 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, 10:30 am at St. Christopher's Church 3350 Union St., North Chili. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the German Radio Program, PO Box 12921, Rochester, NY, 14612.
