Rochester: Passed peacefully surrounded by loving family November 22, 2011 at age 69. Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Helen Messerschmidt; and sister, Monica McCoy. She is survived by her sons, Steve (Sue Griffo), Michael; daughter, Susan (Steve) Cosman; grandchildren, Joe Rossi, Cheyenne and Sierra Cosman; sister, Christine (Tony) Collicicco; brother, Al (Kasia) Messerschmidt; sister-in-law, Virginia Zavaglia; brothers-in-law, Arthur McCoy and Bob (Kathy) Plum; nieces, Terry, Rita, Lisa, Janice.
Family and friends may attend calling hours 6-8 PM Monday at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Graveside Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (please meet at Lake Ave. gate). Donations in Erika's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
