Passed away on October 20th, 2026 at the age of 90.

Predeceased by his Loving Wife, Adriana Amadio; Parents, Giuseppe Amadio, and Maddalena Amadio; Brothers, Italo (Caterina) Amadio and Antonio Amadio.

He is survived by his Children, Marco (Sonia) Amadio, Daniela (Domenic) Marascio, Massimo (Michelle) Amadio; Grandchildren, Marco Marascio, Bianca (Kyle) Pittman, Alessandra Amadio, Christian Amadio, Sofia Amadio, Felicia Amadio, and Lorenzo Amadio; Brother in Italy, Arduino (Antonietta) Amadio; Sister-in-law, Anna Amadio in Italy; Special friends, the Pestilli Families; many nieces and nephews in Italy.

Fernando will be remembered as a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Adriana, a cherished father to Marco, Daniela, and Massimo, and a loving grandfather to his seven grandchildren. He was the kindest and most patient person, whose heart was filled with endless love for his family. Fernando was a long time General Motors employee and retiree in Rochester, NY. He found joy in music and in cheering for his beloved Roma soccer team in Italy, when he wasn't cheering on all of his grandchildren. Fernando touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth, kindness, and love will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Rochester Presbyterian Home (Cottage Grove Location) for great care he received.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 30th, 2026 at 10:00am at St. Theodores Catholic Church (168 Spencerport Rd, Rochester, NY 14606). 

Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave.
