Frank J. Solomon

Frank J. Solomon, aged 85, passed away on July 22, 2025, in Rochester, NY, after a brief illness. Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Mary Solomon, his sister Carolyn Thomas and her husband Mike. Survived by his wife of 34 years, Lorraine Bartlett, his best girls, kitties Poppy and Emma, many cousins, and friends. Special thanks to our good friend Amy for her loving care during Frank's last days.

Frank grew up in Buffalo, NY, and graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in graphic design. He was a US Army veteran who had a career in graphic design at Kodak where he made many long-lasting friends. Frank was also a gifted mapmaker with his own cartography business, Actionmaps, working for clients both local and out-of-state. A seasoned traveler, Frank visited all lower 48 states and internationally. A reserved, private person, Frank enjoyed a quiet, happy life with summers spent on Sodus Bay.
