Fred Cunningham

Fred Cunningham passed away on August 25, 2026, in Rochester, New York. He was born on October 5, 1941, in Kingstree, South Carolina.

Fred will be remembered with respect and affection by those who knew him. His life began in South Carolina and came to its close in Rochester, where his memory will remain with family and friends who mourn his passing and give thanks for his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Whittmore Cunningham and Carrie Cooper Cunningham.

Fred is survived by his brother, his sister, and by his nieces and nephews, who carry forward his memory with love. May they find comfort in one another and in the lasting remembrance of his life.

Visitation will be held on September 4, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at North Greece Road Church of Christ, 1039 N Greece Rd, Rochester, New York 14626. A funeral service will follow from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will take place on September 4, 2026, at Mount Hope Cemetery, 1133 Mt Hope Ave, Rochester, New York 14620.
