Greece: Passed peacefully Monday June 17, 2013 at age 80 in the presence of his family. He was predeceased by his parents, William LeMon & Lillian Kuitems. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Joan; son, Karl "Rick" (Julie) Nielsen; daughters, Patricia Nielsen, Lily Surace, Babette (Larry) Jinks; grandchildren, Stephanie (Jacob) Canale, Joseph (Jessica) Surace, Michelle Surace, Stacey (Greg) Remillard, Erik Nielsen, Garett Jinks, Jessica Jinks; great-grandchildren, Jessie Mae Surace and Chase Remillard; and nieces and nephews. Garett was a retiree of the Rochester Police Dept. and a member of the Police Scuba Squad after 20 years of faithful service, where he had achieved the rank of Sergeant. He was also a member of the Locust Club and Free Masons.
The family will receive friends Saturday, July 13th from 11 AM-1PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.
