Predeceased by his parents, Clyde and Eleanor Irwin. Brother Lawrence Irwin. Sister, Margaret Gordon.

Survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Lynne Irwin. Children, Lynnette and Gregory Irwin, Laurie (David) Wiederhold, Mark (Susan) Irwin, Christine (Ryan) Gilmore. 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, dear friends.

Gary was a proud Veteran of the US Air Force, Airman for John F. Kennedy in Hyannis, Cape Cod. MA. Very involved with local racing especially at Spencer Speedway and Lancaster Speedway.

Gary and Lynne enjoyed spending many weekends at their cabin near Hammondsport, NY. Gary was a retiree of 30 years of Eastman Kodak Co. His love for antique tractors started growing up on a dairy farm in Scio, NY. Gary will be sadly missed by all that knew him.

The family will receive friends 4-6pm Monday August 11, 2025 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. (next to Donut Delite)

Graveside services will be held Tuesday morning 11am in Webster Rural Cemetery, 1087 Ridge Rd, Webster, NY 14580.

In lieu of flowers friends may make contributions to the Disabled Veterans Foundation in memory of Gary.
