Spencerport: Suddenly Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at age 69. He is survived by his loving wife and soul mate of 43 years, Jane Regan-Ames; son, John (Karen Phillips); daughter, Kathleen E. Ames; grandson, Regan Phillips-Ames; granddog, Sasha; nieces and nephews; and dear friend, James Jolly. Gary was a United States Air Force Veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War and was a retiree of Eastman Kodak after 33 years.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 23rd from 1-4 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Gary's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 55 Martha St., Spencerport, NY. Private interment. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Vietnam Veteran's of America or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
