mother, Hazel Calkins; in-laws, Frank L. Hunter Sr. & Stephanie
M. Hunter; sisters-in law, Sandra Calkins and Joan Hunter; brothers-in law, Joseph Canavan and Raymond Johns. Survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Patricia E. (Hunter) Calkins; father, Lester; sons, Timothy Lee (Susan), Christopher Lee (Michelle Infante); daughter, Caryn Anne (Allen) Calkins King; grandchildren, Kristofer King, Jordan King, Marin Calkins, Benjamin Infante,
Abigail Infante and Aidan Infante; sisters-in-law, Frances (John)
Hendershot, Judith Hunter, Nancy Johns, Susan Canavan, and Wendy (Leslie) Calkins; brothers, Leslie Calkins, Roger Calkins and David L. (Susan) Hunter; brother-in-law, Frank L. Hunter Jr.; 70 nieces and nephews; special friends, Tom & Rosemary Baker, Roy & Ann Martin.
Gary was a member of St. Theodore's Church Choir for 13 years,
Gates Soccer, Cub Scouts, Lakeshore Fire Dept. and a United
States Air Force Veteran serving 1964-1970.
Friends and family may call Monday October 14, 2013, 2-4 & 6-8
PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. His Funeral
Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 AM at St. Theodore's Church,
168 Spencerport Rd. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu
of flowers, contributions may be made to Lipson Cancer Center in
c/o Rochester General Hospital, 1425 Portland Ave., Rochester,
NY 14621.
