Suddenly, Sunday January 5, 2020.
Predeceased by his daughter Amanda Merrell.
Survived by his loving wife, Ronnette. Daughters, Jerica Merrell, Tammy Piesczynski. Son Jason Piesczynski. Granddaughter, Esmeralda Drie'. Sister, Nadine (James) Hickman, Joyce (Charles) Sykes. Many cousins, nieces, nephews, dear friends and his brothers at Attica Correctional Facility.
Gary was a corrections officer for over 33 years at Attica Correctional Facility in Attica, NY. He loved his family, riding his Harley and was a hard working man. He loved his career as a corrections officer. He will be sadly missed by so many. Gary left us too soon and broke our hearts, you will be forever loved and never forgotten.
Friends may call 4-7 pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (corner of Long Pond Rd.) Rochester, NY 14626. At 6:30 pm. a final tribute and last call of duty will be presented by The Attica Correction Officers.
