George Gerhardt Bachner
George G. Bachner, 89, of Rochester, New York died Wednesday January 7, 2015. Mr. Bachner was born July 15, 1925 in Germany. He moved to Rochester New York in 1954 and became a Proud American Citizen in the year of 1962. He was a retired engineer for the Xerox Corporation. Mr. Bachner was predeceased by a grandson, Paul Guyette.
Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Betty Lunz Bachner; daughters, Doris (Lou) Guyette; Annamarie Hew; Rita (Gary) Carpino, all of Rochester NY; Barbara (Dennis) Martin of Lewisville, NC; Carol (Daniel) Wright of Stoneville, NC. Grandchildren, Mary Guyette, Christina (Dave), Rachel (Vinny), Alex, Autumn (Joe), Carla, Jason, Tyler (Michelle), Candace (Reed), and Carina; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Emma, Ashley, Madison, Tyler, Lyla, Bryna, Dylan; nieces and nephews.
Funeral service of life celebration will be held 11:00 AM Monday January 12, 2015 at New Comer Funeral Home Chapel, 6 Empire Blvd. Rochester, NY. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
