Passed away on September 30, 2025 at the age of 74.
Predeceased by his parents, Helen Hackett & George Hackett Sr.; brother, Donald Hackett; best-friend, James Bunting.
He is survived by his children, Nathan (Cheryl) Hackett & Sarah (Jamie) Farr; grandchildren, Brennan, Gabbi, Grace, Carter & Reese; siblings, Kathy (Barry) Samuel, Teri (Mark) Kotlarczyk & Michael (Tanya) Hackett; former spouse, Linda Hackett; wife, Andrea Chilton & her daughter, Jocelyn Chilton; nephew & roommate, Jesse Kotlarczyk; and many more loving extended family members.
George was a quiet guy. He enjoyed the simple things in life, spending time with his friends & rooting for the New York Jets.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.
Interment will immediately follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave.
