George Getman Madison Jr., 77, passed away suddenly on August 10, 2025.
He is predeceased by his parents, George Sr. and Italina Cerasani; sisters Carol Wegman (Rob) and Judy; and is survived by siblings Gloria Trick (Dieter), Kenneth (Marilyn), James, Joyce Snell (David), and Floyd Madison.
George is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Linda Madison, and by his three children: Danielle Perry (Esteban), Salinna Beabout, and Lisa-Anne McLouth (Chris). He was a proud grandfather to Kyler Beabout, Christopher McLouth II (Hannah), Leanna Beabout, Mackenzie McLouth, Scarlett McLouth, Nolan Beabout, and Milanni Beabout; and great-grandfather to Penelope McLouth. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will cherish his memory.
A proud veteran, George served two tours in Vietnam from 1967 to 1970, achieving the rank of SP5 as an engine repairman. He graduated from Webster Thomas High School and went on to work as a crop duster with Crop Cair, and as a delivery driver for Lawyers Co-op and Castle Products. He was an active member of the Ontario Gun Club and the Ultralight Club, where he enjoyed his love of aviation.
George had a passion for the outdoors and could often be found hunting, fishing, or spending time in nature. Above all, he cherished time with his family. He loved Jesus, found strength in prayer, and enjoyed reading the Bible and attending church.
George’s life was a testament to faith, hard work, and devotion to family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
