Greece: Died peacefully Monday, April 29, 2013 at age 79. Predeceased by his parents, Patsy and Adeline Scialdone. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Irene (Subrani); beloved daughters, Andrea (Ronald) Yancone and Dana Scialdone (Michael); cherished grandchildren, Joelynn Garofolo (fiance, Shaun Hutchings), Jordan Garofolo, Gabrielle Denaro; his very special great-grandchildren, Julianna Weaver and Anthony Garofolo; brother-in-law, Raoul (Lily) Subrani; many cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends. George was a four year Navy veteran (Korea).

The family wishes to express their gratitude and appreciation to the staff and all caregivers on the 4th Floor, Wesley Gardens for their compassionate care and kindness.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Friday at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece Rd. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
