August 14, 1929 — September 14, 2013

Greece: Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the age of 84, sud­denly went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Predeceased by his son, Rickey; parents, Frank and Anna Has­man; brothers, Edward, Frank and Clarence; sisters, Alice, Doris and Mary Anne.

Gerry is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Geri; sons, Dale (Deanna), Alan (Mary­Jane), and Craig; step-children, Paul (Lisa) Barletta, Karen Barletta and David (Debbie) Barletta; sev­eral grandchildren, great-grand­children, nieces and nephews; brothers, Norman and Leonard; sister-in-law, Diane Cerone along with many dear friends.

Gerry was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. He had a life long passion for flying and became a CFII (Certified Flight Instrument Instructor) and the re­cipient of the Wright Bros. Master Pilot Award. Gerry shared his pas­sion for flying with over 300 of his students receiving their Pilot's Li­censes. Gerry was an active mem­ber of First Bible Baptist Church, and served in many areas within the church.


Friends may join the family in a Celebration of Gerry's Life at First Bible Baptist Church, 990 Manitou Rd., Hilton, NY 14468 on Friday evening, October 4th at 7 PM, followed by a reception.
