Spencerport: Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, at age 93. Predeceased by his first wife, A. Louise Cooper; daughter-in-law, Mary Cooper; 3 brothers. He is survived by his loving wife, Truey E. Cooper; son, Larry Cooper; stepchildren, Nora Spindler, Anne (Paul) Stereman, David (Sue) Johnston and Debbie (Harold) Hurne; 2 grandchildren, Mike (Mary Ellen) Cooper and Amy (Jeff) Hughes; 4 great-grandchildren; many step-grandchildren & step-great-grandchil-dren; 4 sisters; 1 brother; several nieces & nephews. Gillie was a WWII veteran and retiree of the Eastman Kodak Company.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to all the nurses and aides at Wedgewood Nursing Home for the loving care given to Gillie and his family.
Family and friends may call Monday (Today), 4-8 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. His Funeral Service will be celebrated Tuesday, 10 AM at Spencerport Bible Church, 1948 North Union St., Spencerport. Interment in Dutch Street Cemetery, Mt. Morris, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Spencerport Bible Church in his memory.
