Rochester: Passed peacefully, Saturday, October 26, 2013 at age 63 in the presence of her loving family. She was predeceased by her father, James Ransom and grandson, Elias Kabongo. She is survived by her husband of 42 years,William H. Walker, Sr.; mother, Chinary Ransom; children, Loletha Walker-Mbaya (Robert Kabongo), William H. Walker Jr., Kenneth C. (Darcell) Walker, David J. Walker; grandchildren, Jazzelen, Jada, and Davi-Anna Walker; brother, James Ransom Jr. and fiance Vivian Mae Murray; nieces and nephews, Tatiana Monique Ransom, James Ransom III, Imani Shardie Ransom, Zavian Semaj Ransom. Gloria was a retiree of the Rochester City School District, School #36 after 28 years of service.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, November 2nd, from 10 AM to 12 PM at The Full Gospel Tabernacle, 614 Clifford Ave., where Funeral Services will immediately follow calling hours at 12 Noon. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. Contributions in Gloria's name may be directed to Full Gospel Tabernacle or Hospice of Rochester, Lifetime Care.
