Greece: Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness with ALS, on January 11, 2015. Predeceased by her father, Robert Couchman. Gloria is survived by her mother, Jeanette Couchman; devoted husband of 45 years, Dennis Thomas; children, Cindy (Mark) Burrows, Dennis (Lexie) Thomas, James (Amy) Thomas, Nicole (Andrew) McKnight, and Michele (Chris) Berke; grandchildren, Ryan & Amber Burrows, Logan Thomas, Jacob & Madison Thomas, Marquet & James Clark, Abigail McKnight, Emma & Lizzy Berke; great-grandson, Shawn Burrows; sisters, Barbara Couchman & Debi Emasie; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, several nieces, nephews & dear friends.
Friends may call Friday, January 16th from 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday 10AM at Journey Christian Church, 3955 Mt. Read Blvd., Rochester, NY. Donations may be made in Gloria's name to Hearts for ALS NY, 1899 South Ave., Rochester, NY 14620.
