Rochester/Greece: February 18, 2014 at age 95. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Mildred Lawton; and her husbands, Harry E. Sherwood and George Wilson. Survived by her son, John (Jack) W. Sherwood; daughters, Karen L. (Bo) Egholm and Norma McElligott; grandchildren, Tor (Tali) Sherwood, Kristen (Wayne) Biernesser, Svend Egholm and Hans Egholm; great-grandchildren, Maija Biernesser and Kaiya Sherwood; her special friends at Edna Tina Wilson Living Center and The Villages. Helen was on the Board of Directors for the Port Travel Club, Assistant Director for Rochester's PTA's and she did extensive volunteer work.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lifetime Care Hospice of Rochester, 3111 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14623.
