Henry Herriott

March 28, 1936 — April 23, 2019

Rochester- Mr. Henry Herriott was born May 25, 1936, the youngest child of Estelle and Henry Herriott.



Mr. Herriott received his education in Sumter, South Carolina. He moved to New Jersey but ended up in Rochester, NY where he learned the construction trade. He received a job with Pfaudler Co. in their carpentry shop and he retired in 1999 after 32 years with the company.



Henry was always described as a "nice man" and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was loved by all who knew him.



Mr. Herriott is predeceased in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Rosanna Herriott, all of his siblings, and a grandson, Nyemahni Merriam.



Left to cherish his memory, his five daughters, Shirly (Greg), Linda, Cynthia (Norman), Deborah (Tim), and Henrietta, his eight grandchildren, Jamar, Fonati, Crystal, Vanessa, Jessica, Marche, Anthony, and Tim. His five great-grandchildren, Fonati Jr., Nyemanhi, Nykia "Kiki", Nyana "Ny", and Nyriah "Riah". He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.



Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626, on Friday, May 3, 2019, from 10:00am-12:00pm, with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Greece, NY.
