Melcher, Herbert H.
Gates: Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at age 71. Predeceased by his wife, Rufina. Survived by children, Carol, Peter (Amanda); grandchildren, Dylan, Liam & Amelia. Herbert was a United States Army veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War, and retiree of Eastman Kodak.
Family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 3, 6-8 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11 AM. Interment, Grove Place Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to the Gates Volunteer Ambulance, 1600 Buffalo Rd., Rochester, NY 14624.
