Hildagarde "Hilda" D. Schlosser

Hildagarde “Hilda” D. Schlosser passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 98. She was born on March 25, 1928, in Rochester, and lived a long life marked by devotion to family and the enduring love of those closest to her.

Hilda will be remembered with deep affection by her family. She is survived by her children, Raymond Schlosser, Kathy (Jim) Schmitt, Gary Schlosser, and Carol (Robert) Cario, as well as her son-in-law, Russell Ernfield. Her love also continues through the generations in her grandchildren, Kristin Schlosser, Adam Schmitt, Christopher Herbert, Kelly Ernfield, Brian Cario, Daniel Cario, and Elliot Schmitt; her great-granddaughter, Kendall Detlond; and her great-grandson, Lincoln Allen. The lives she touched through her family will remain part of her lasting legacy.

She was preceded in death by her father, Albin Abert Hey; her mother, Frieda Abert Hey; and her daughter, Karen Schlosser Ernfield, who died in 2019. Their memories remained part of the story of her life and the family she cherished so deeply.

A graveside service will be held on August 31, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Rd, Pittsford, NY 14534.

Hilda’s life will be remembered with gratitude, and her memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
