Irene J. Coveny

Irene J. Coveny, passed away on February 27, 2026, at the remarkable age of 95. 

She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. She is cherished by her nieces Kathleen Zwirblis and Rene (Irene) Coveny, as well as her great-niece Cassandra Coveny. 

Irene spent most of her life living and working in New York City, but in 2012, she made a decision to move to Rochester to be closer to her niece and great-niece. Irene’s infectious sense of humor and unwavering energy will forever be remembered by her family and friends.

 She was affectionately known as the energizer bunny. We will deeply miss our Aunt Irene’s presence and the countless memories she gifted us.
