Rochester - Passed away on September 1, 2021 at the age of 82.
Predeceased by his son, Luis A. Alvarez; daughter, Maria J. Alvarez.
He is survived by his endless love of 36 years, Rita R. Jopp; children, Myriam J. Velez, Jose L. Alvarez, Jazmin (Barney) Rivera, Israel Alvarez, Jr., Lizet Martinez, & Wilfredo Antonetti; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; many extended family members & dear friends.
Family will receive friends 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Thursday, September 9, 2021 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Boulevard. Per the family's request please wear a mask if you are attending visitation.
