We are heartbroken and devastated to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and pa, Jack J. Spronz, 81, on June 6th, 2025.
Predeceased by his parents, Ernest & Mary Spronz.
Survived by devoted wife of 58 years, JoAnn; loving son Jack (Francine) Spronz and daughter Laura (Frank Jr.) Marino; adoring grandchildren Marisa and Nicholas Spronz, Francesca and Audrey Marino; brother Robert (Angela) Spronz; many nieces and nephews, friends, coworkers, and golf league buddies.
Jack was an Army combat medic during the Vietnam War with the 25th Infantry Division “Tropic Lightning” 1st Battalion, 69th Armor. He was a Purple Heart Recipient.
Jack was a General Motors Skilled Trades retiree and member of UAW Local 1097 and former UA Local 13.
While golf was his passion, his family was his greatest love. Jack’s selfless manner and easygoing presence will continue to live on in all of our hearts and we will cherish our memories with him always.
Family will receive friends Monday June 16, 2025 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, 6 Empire Blvd. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday June 17, 2025 at 9:30 am, Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mount Read Blvd. Immediately following his military honors will render at his burial site, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave.
