Passed away on, November 19, 2025 at the age of 92.
Predeceased by her parents, James Murray and Lucy Coutu; sisters, Bertha, Jane, and Lucy; and her brothers, James and Arthur.
She is survived by her children, Jackie (Reba Silterra) Longchamps, Charles (Maria) Longchamps, Art Longchamps, Paul (Karen) Longchamps, and Jeanne Longchamps; grandchildren, Carl, Jolie, and Andrea; four great-grandchildren; and the very many dance students that adored her.
Jacquie taught over 200 students learn tap, ballet, jazz, & ballroom at her own studio in Webster, Jacquie Longchamp's school of dance. She also taught dance at Botsford's and at the Rochester School for the Deaf. She was also a watercolor artist. She later developed her own movement system called Moven while helping individuals with movement challenges. Jacquie loved dancing the Argentine Tango.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, November 24th from 3-9:30pm at Jamieson Ritter Memorial Lodge in Webster Park.
Please bring your memories and stories to share. Performances are also welcomed, including but not limited to dance, poetry, & music.
From 6:45 to 930pm there will be Argentine Tango music, please bring your dance shoes.
