Macedon: Passed peacefully Friday, November 20, 2015 at age 81 with his family at his side. He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Gerry. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Barbara; son, James B. Piper Jr.; daughters, Barbara (Dave), Sandra, Susan (John), Lorie (Jim); 13 grandchildren, John ( Mel), Erin (Tom), Stephanie (Josh, Shannon, Jimmy,C.J. (Amanda), Steve (Kate), Scott, Anthony, Regina, Liz and Kate, 6 great-grandchildren; Mariah, Connor, Maddie, Dominick, sisters, Mary Lou, Sarah, Betty Ann and several nieces and nephews. James was a United States Air Force Veteran who proudly served his country during the Korean War, a member of VFW Post 1097, Euchre Club and was an avid bowler.

The family will receive friends Mon., November 23rd from 4-8 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tues. 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 West Ridge Rd.
