Irondequoit: Saturday, April 23, 2011 at age 94. Predeceased by his wife, Rose (Malinka) Gallagher. He is survived by his beloved companion, Harriet Koselny; sons, Richard (Pegge Coon), Dennis (Frances) Gallagher; grandchildren, Michael (Maryellen), Brian (Lisa), Patrick (Yolanda), Justin, Stephen, Sara; great-grandchildren, Janae, Jared, Carley, Grace, Rachel, Kayla, Morgan, Jack; great-great grandchildren, Faith and Adam; nephew, Mark Callan.
Jim was a WWII and Korean War Veteran. He was also very active in the Pinegrove Senior Center.
Family will receive friends, 4-8 PM Wednesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 AM, Thursday at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 1124 Hudson Ave., Rochester, NY 14621. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
