Canandaigua: December 17, 2011 at age 89. Predeceased by his loving wife of 46 years, Freda; brother, William E. He is survived by his son, John (Dianne) Steltz; grandchildren, John Steltz, Todd (Mary) Steltz, Tracey (Joe) Leone and Don (Wendy) Steltz; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Irene and cousin, Barry.
James volunteered for many years at the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center to which the family would like to extend a special thanks for the dedicated care given by the Nursing Staff.
Private Services at the convenience of the family. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. Donations may be made to the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, 350 Parrish St., Canandaigua NY 14424.
