Rochester, NY/Zephyerhills,FL: May 17, 1932-June 16, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents,Charles and Martha Toal; wife, Mary Jane Toal; brother, Bob Toal. He is survived by his children, John Toal, Doreen Toal, Michael Toal, James (JoAnna) Toal; grandchildren, John Toal, David Toal, Andrew Toal, Carolyn Toal, Katherine Toal, Kali Murphy, Heather Siwicki; great-grandchildren, Mark Strassner, Isabella Lewis, Riley Rafferty, Brice Rafferty, Lily Murphy; sisters, Kathy Clements and Ann Crum. James graduated from John Marshall High School and was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force in 1954. His interests included being a Dallas Cowboys fan, camping, playing guitar and joking with his friends, playing cards. He was an artist and did calligraphy and loved old western movies.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 19th from 4-8 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM.
