Jim had a love for the outdoors, enjoying camping, fishing, campfire naps and a cold Genny 12-horse.
He was a member of the National Guard, and a member of Bergen Rod and Gun Club. A solid shot winning Marksmanship awards but always brought home a frozen turkey from his hunting trips.
His love for dogs was sealed by a spunky mutt named Pepper, and she will be there to walk beside him on his next adventure.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hildebrandt hospice.
