He is predeceased by his parents John and Rose Foley.
He is survived by his wife Dawn, children Colleen, Alyson (Arunas Gecas), and Ryan Foley;
sisters, Patti (Jeff) Nagle, Mary (Donna Riola) Foley and Lori (Mark Hoadley) Foley; mother-in-law, Grace Parshall; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
Jim always took wonderful care of his family. He was also always ready to help friends and neighbors with home repairs (some neighbors called him the "mayor" of the street). While he could be a quiet man, he had a great sense of humor and never failed to say just the thing to make us laugh.
Jim retired from Monroe County Water Authority. He was a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan and was no doubt cheering his team onto victory on Sunday from above.
Family will receive friends, Friday from 4pm to 7pm at New Comer Funeral Home 6 Empire Blvd.
His funeral mass will be held Saturday at 10am at Blessed Sacrament Church 534 Oxford St.
Interment Irondequoit Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
