Penfield- James D. Lahue, 56, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 after a long battle with cancer.
Jim was born in Akron, Ohio to George and Maureen Lahue on May 17, 1963. On September 19, 1987 Jim married the love of his life, Jeannine, and together they raised three wonderful boys. Jim worked in advertising for over 30 years and most recently he was Creative Director for The University of Rochester Medical Center. Jim will be remembered for his love of reading and his strong unwavering faith. His passion in life was his family.
Jim was predeceased by his father, George.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Jeannine, his three sons, Justin, Matthew, and Nicholas, his mother, Maureen Lahue, his siblings, Paul (Karen) Lahue, and Mary (Jim Crowley) Murphy, his father-in-law, John (the late Rose Ann)Schoen, his brothers-in-law Chris (Cindy) Schoen, and Jonathan (Stacy) Schoen, his sister-in-law, Anne Klein and a host of nieces, and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY14609, on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, from 10:00am-12:00pm, with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at White Haven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jim's name to the Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
