Rochester: Peacefully and with dignity on March 1, 2014 at age 92.

He is predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters; grandson, Michael Thomas Pizzi; and son-in-law, Joseph Cammarata.

Survived by his devoted and loving wife of 62 years, Andrea; children, Andrea (Thomas) Pizzi, James (Suzanne) Vaccaro Jr., and Maria Cammarata; grandchildren, Lynda (Steven) Schanz, Peter LoFurno, Laurie Pizzi, Stacey (William) Mazzullo; great-grandson, Vincent James Mazzullo; grandson, Jeremy Schacter, and great-granddaughter, Ava; bothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews.

James was a true gentleman and a gentle man.

Friends and family may call Wednesday March 5th, 5-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 6th at 11 AM, Light of Christ Parish at Annunciation, 1754 Norton St., Rochester.

Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
