Janice Booth Stainton

Passed away on, September 11, 2025 at the age of 61 following a second courageous battle with cancer.

She is predeceased by parents, Halford and Georgine Johnson.

She is survived by her beloved sons, Sam Booth (Mariah), EJ Stainton Bready (Riley) and Will Stainton.

She graduated from Nazareth College in 1994 as a speech language pathologist and served children with special needs at Rochester City School for 30 years. Janice was highly dedicated to her work and often volunteered her time to their care.

Janice was a grateful member of AA for 27 years. She attributes the love, peace and serenity to their teachings, as well as the many kind people who were integral to her recovery. At the end of her life these people were ever-present and soothed her concerns making for a peaceful transition.

Services will be held at a later date.
