Gates: Passed peacefully Friday, December 9, 2011 at age 86 with her family at her side. She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Joseph. She is survived by her children, Marlene (Guy) D'Ovidio, Sunday (Dennis) Carter, Joseph (Georgia) Interlicchia, Susan (Stephen) Fowler; grandchildren, Joseph and David D'Ovidio, Christopher and Patrick Burns, Stacey Taylor, Cindy DiGiacco, Lindee Carter, Nicholas and Kristina Interlicchia, Alex Gelo, Lauren Fowler; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert, Thomas (Patricia) and James Wilson; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Janice Wilson, Marion (Carmen) Scialdone, Angie (Frank) Golisano; brother and sister-in-law, Sam (Virginia) Interlicchia; special niece and nephew, AnnMarie LaRosa, Michael Scialdone; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 12 from 4-7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Janice's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 AM at St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Road. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Sunset House, 3746 St. Paul Blvd., Rochester, NY 14617.
