It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Javier Michael Benitez, who departed this life on May 25, 2026, at the age of 37.

Born on December 8, 1988, Javier was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend. He touched the lives of many with his presence and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Many memories of Javier will be cherished and held close.

Though his time with us was far too brief, the love he shared and the impact he made will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

He is survived by his loving mother, Dawn Benitez; his father, Juber Benitez; his sister, Christina Benitez; and his grandmother, Linda Cretelle. He also leaves behind an aunt, uncle, nephew, niece, cousins, and many dear friends who will carry his memory forward.

Javier is predeceased by his brother, Nicholas Benitez.

May he rest in eternal peace.
