Greece: Passed on April 1st, 2014 at age 83. She is survived by her husband, George L. Cowley; daughters, Donna Jean (Ron Phillips) O'Connor, Mary "Meg" Nettnin, Mary Beth Scherberger, Jo Ann (Scott) Pollock; step-children, George Cowley, Fred (Debbie) Cowley, Christine (Ernie) Pavone, Matthew (Mary) Cowley; grandchildren, Richard (Kellie) Judd, Bryan (Nicole) Scherberger, Gwen (Scott) Perkins, Rachel (Sean) Peaks, Ashley (Jessica) Dunn, Christina (Dennis) Landry, Jason Nettnin, Taylor Pollock & Mackenzie Pollock; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Susan (Duane) Schneider, Molly (Robert) Baker, Elaine Tharp; 6 nieces & nephews. She is also predeceased by her step-daughter, Bonnie Chiappone.
The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers at the Sunset House for their angelic care and support.
Visitation Hours will be held on Saturday April 5th, 2014 from 1-4 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., where a Celebration of Jean's Life will be held immediately following the visitation.
