Rochester: May 8, 2014 at age 81. She is predeceased by her father, Emil; mother, Emily; step-father, Leon; sister, Irene; brothers, Leon and Ray. Survived by her sister, Dorothy Kanous; brothers, Bill (Nancy), Jim (Barb), Dave and Don Slaght; sisters-in-law, Dixie and Carol Slaght; nieces, nephews and cousins by the dozens.
Friends and family may call Tuesday May 13, 2014, 6-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Her Service will follow at 8 PM. Interment, Wednesday 11:30 AM at Mt. Hope Cemetery (main gate). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kitten Korner Rescue Inc. 9 Barben Circle Mendon, New York 14506; Ogden Baptist Church Choir 721 Washington St. Spencerport, New York 14559; and Lifetime Assistance Hospice.
