Vane, Jean Marie
Rochester: Passed peacefully, Saturday June 8, 2013 at age 84. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert. She is survived by her children, Karen Vane (John Ragan), Katherine (Michael) Scherzi, Kevin (Karan) Vane; sister, Elaine (Gordon) Shamp; several nieces and nephews and a very special friend in Kathy Dean (Thank you for all you did for Mama Jean); and many other lifelong friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to the staff of Monroe Community Hospital, Hope #4 for the loving care given to Mom during her stay.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 12th from 5-8 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Jean's Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Monica's Church, 831 Genesee St. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Jean's name to The Multiple Sclerosis Assoc. of Rochester or to the American Cancer Society of Rochester. WE LOVE YOU, MOM.
