Jeanne M. Deil

Jeanne M. Deil passed away on November 4, 2026, at the age of 71.

Jeanne will be remembered as a spirited and unforgettable woman, a true cherrybomb whose headstrong nature was part of the force and warmth she brought to the people around her. She loved life’s bright gatherings and simple joys alike. She loved Christmas, she loved a party, and she especially loved relaxing and boating in the Thousand Islands. Some of her happiest times were spent there with family, making memories in a place that meant so much to her. She also loved watching her grandson grow up, a joy that held a special place in her heart.

At the center of Jeanne’s life was her family. She is survived by her husband, William; her children, Aaron Deil and Andrea Deil; her son-in-law, Russell Munoz; and her grandson, Austin Munoz. She is also survived by her sisters, Linda Bentivegna and Carol Viccaro, and by her brother, Henry Lamoy. The love Jeanne shared with her family, especially with her children and grandson, shaped the life she lived and the memories she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, Paul Lamoy; her mother, Ruth Lamoy; her sister, Shirley; and her brother, Tom “Butchie.”

Visitation will be held on November 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, Eastside, 6 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609.
