Irondequoit- Jennie Marcoux passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019.
Our dear sweet mother of 10 was loved as much by friends as by her family, and we loved her so very much. That says a lot about how caring and kind her soul is. If you knew her you wanted her as a friend.
Jennie was welcomed into heaven by her loving husband, Leo, her daughter, Marie Walters, her twins, and her parents, Frank and Sarah, and her five siblings.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, David Marcoux, Darryl Marcoux, Roseann (Laura Szelag) Marcoux, Fr. Joe Marcoux, Dan (Karen Wotton) Marcoux, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A cheerful celebration will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY 14609, on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 2:00pm0-4:00pm, and 7:00pm-9:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. James Church, Brett Road, Rochester, NY 14609 on Thursday, August 8, 2019, at 11am. Burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Rochester, NY .
In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Jennie's name to St. James Church.
