GREECE - Passed peacefully surrounded by loving family Tues­day, August 21, 2018. Predeceased by her hus­band, Robert L. Avery; brother, John Gubbins; sister, Elaine Gubbins. She is survived by her children, Cindy (Rick) Ficalora, Patty (Steve) Sutorius, Don (Kim) Corwin, Jeff (Tracy) Corwin, Mark (Mary) Avery, David (Lisa) Avery; beloved grand­children, Mason, Lauren, Daniel, Rachel, Michelle, Mitchell, Lindsay, Bobbie Sue, Chelsea, Amber, Julianna, Kyle, Andrew and Cyndi; and great-granddaughters, Charlotte and Naomi; sisters, Beverly Schroth, Faith Jones, Patricia (Henry) Propp, Hope Venneau, Gail (Tom) Byrnes; many nieces and neph­ews; and many close friends.

Joan was a member of Holy Cross Church and an active member of the Northwest YMCA.

No prior calling. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Fri­day, August 24, 2018 at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Ave. Inter­ment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
