Greece: Passed Sunday November 16, 2014. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Jim Dugan. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Donald; daughter, Karen (Chuck) Berry; 3 sons, Jim (Loreal), Richard and Robert (Lisa); 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Dugan; 2 brothers, Alan (Maryanne) VonBuren and Donald (Sarah) VonBuren; several nieces and nephews; and longtime childhood friends, Alice and Art Melone.
The family will receive friends Wednesday November 19th from 6-9 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue where a Memorial Service will immediately following calling hours at 9 PM. Contributions in Joan's name may be directed to Open Door Mission, 156 Plymouth Avenue North, Rochester, NY 14608.
