Rochester: Was born on September 27, 1946 in Rochester, NY to Michael J. Valle, Sr. and Santina (Tuttobene) Valle. She fought bravely and surrendered her battle to lung cancer on May 8, 2014. JoAnn married the love of her life Robert E. Miller on January 20, 1968. They raised their two beautiful, strong, and independent daughters, Sondra Miller (Scott Meatte) and Kimberly (John) Gebo over the next forty-six years welcoming two grandchildren along the way, Justice and Kendra. JoAnn is survived by her brother, Michael J. (Buzzie) Valle, Jr., many cousins who are more like sisters and brothers, and countless friends.
A memorial celebrating JoAnn's life will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY 14626, beginning 3:00 PM on Friday, May 16, 2014. The celebration will continue at Bob and JoAnn's home, 227 Woodsmoke Lane, Rochester, NY 14612, immediately following the formal services.
