Survived by loving mother Luz (Roy) Ortiz; siblings, Michael (Ashley) Velazquez, Dontay Cooper, and Analicia Ortiz; grandmother, Francisca (Horacio) Chevez; uncles, Victor (Karla) Ortiz and Luis (Leticia) Rodriguez; aunt, Iris (Alex) Ruiz; nephew, Dontay Joel Cooper Jr.; and many cousins
Joel Proudly served in the Navy for 4 years.
Family will receive friends at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire blvd., Friday, July 14, 2017 from 4-7. Graveside service will be Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10am Oakwood cemetery Penfield, NY
