Johanna Katherine Marx (nee Loskorn)
On Thursday March 17, joined her Lord Jesus and her beloved husband Paul in heaven.
Dear Mother of Keith (JC Andrews), Kathy Saeli (David); grandmother of Carrie Marx (Adam Puscheck), Casey Marx, Patric Marx, Rebekah Hollenbeck (Steven), Sarah Tomlin (Cameron) and Joshua Saeli (Sarah Wilkes); step-grandmother of Katie Ann, Kristy Lee and Jillian Schmitt; great-grandmother of Baby Hollenbeck; sister of Janice Salley, sister-in-law of Ronnie Marx (Shirley) and Gary Marx (Claudia ) and the late Kenny Marx and Rudy Salley; daughter of the late Anna and Christian Loskorn. A faithful friend to her dog, Bell.
Johanna and Paul were foster parents, opening their home in Depew, NY to children for respite care. Johanna graduated from the Millard Fillmore School of Professional Nursing and loved her nursing career at Millard Fillmore Gates Hospital. She and Paul enjoyed camping throughout the US, retiring to Florida, where Johanna continued to work as a nurse. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends who enjoyed her great sense of humor, compassion and positive outlook on life.
A memorial service will be held in Rochester, on Monday March 28th at 3pm, at Glory to Glory Christian Fellowship, 640 Brooks Ave. Rochester, NY 14619.
