Rochester: 6-24-31/1-8-14. Survived by daughter, Lisa Rodgers and son, Christopher John Furfaro; also sister and brother-in-law, Fortunato and Gloria Galtieri; many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by 3 brothers, Auguste, Michael, and Gerard; 3 sisters, Peggy, Yolanda, and Philomena; his parents, Anthony and Madelina Furfaro. Born in Newark, NY John was the youngest person in NY State to obtain a Liquor License beginning with his first restaurant, Johnny's Hideaway at age 21, subsequently opening many others and finally retiring from Sir Richard's at age 68.
A Memorial Service will be planned for later in the year. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Cross Church.
