Baart, John H.
Greece: Passed peacefully Monday, October 23, 2017 at age 77. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Margaret Baart; sisters, Kathleen Strassner, Mildred VanDeViver, Margaret Kaiser; brothers, Raymond K. Baart and Louis Baart. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Penny J. Baart; loving children, Eric Baart, Eileen (Ethan) Lyons and granddaughter, Ella Lyons; sister, Virginia (Pat) Schreiber; brother, William (Sharon) Baart; sister-in-law, Elaine Masiuk-Baart and many nieces and nephews. John was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co. A proud United States Army Veteran and a devoted member of the Kiwanis Club of Greece.
The family will receive friends Friday, October 27, 2017 from 5-8PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. John's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of the donors choice.
